The on-going joint campus placement drive at RIMT-IMCT, Mandi Gobindgarh, received a big boost today, when the pharmaceutical giant Ranbaxy visited the campus to recruit the students as management trainees.

New Delhi: Veteran Sikh leader Parkash Singh Badal is expected to be sworn in as the new chief minister of Punjab tomorrow. Badal called on Governor S.F. Rodrigues with the list of 71 out of 116 newly-elected lawmakers of the state assembly in the state capital Chandigarh following his election as the leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janata Party legislature group.

Shiromani Akali Dal leader and three-time chief minister Parkash Singh Badal is all set to be the next chief minister of Punjab with his party, in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), getting a clear mandate in the assembly poll results declared Tuesday.
